My name is Katrina, (she/her). I was drawn to bodywork from a lifetime of giving massage and energy work to friends and family. I’ve worked with Spokane’s birthing community as a birth doula for 20 years in both hospital and homebirth settings. In the middle of my doula career, I became licensed as a massage therapist, graduating from Northwest Noetic School of Massage in 2005. I began my professional career in a physical therapy clinic that specialized in Traumatic Brain Injury and chronic pain using manual therapy. I gained skills in manual treatment methods such as cranial sacral therapy, visceral manipulation, lymphatic drainage and myofascial release. My training under Spokane’s Ron Murray, Canadian trained Osteopath, deepened my awareness and understanding of anatomy and the bodies innate wisdom for healing. In 2007 I received my 200-hour RYT. I love incorporating restorative yoga into bodywork sessions.
As an intuitive, I use these manual skills to take my client on a healing journey; one where we, practitioner and client, invite the physical and energetic bodies to come into awareness. This awareness allows a deep sense of release to guide a shift and create an opportunity for deeper alignment into ones true sense of well-being.
My practice invites women in all stages and ages of life. I also treat children birth – 3yr. Allow me to support you as you grow deeper in your truest self. This is a trauma-informed anti-racsist space. I strive to create safe space. If there are ways I can increase your sense of safety, and well being, or do a better job please let me know.
I am deeply honored that this is my life’s journey.
